In 2006, Mike Metzger became the first person to jump on a motorcycle over the complex's fountains. In 2004, the fight between Wladimir Klitschko and Jeff Lacy took place here. Since 2000 Celine Dion has performed here in the specially built Colosseum and since 2007 Elton John has joined her. In 19, the hotel hosted the Las Vegas Grand Prix for Formula 1 auto racing. In 1980, the famous fight between Mohammed Ali and Larry Holmes took place in the Caesars Palace. Here in 1982, Ronnie Vannucci, now playing in the Vegas group 'The Killers', at the age of 6, was named the youngest musical performer. So in 1980, the American stuntman Gary Wells made his famous unsuccessful jump on a motorcycle through the fountain of Caesar's Palace, receiving many injuries.
Since its opening in 1966, Caesar's Palace has hosted many 'star' events.
